Product Description

Vacherin Mont d’Or is one of France and Switzerland’s most cherished seasonal cheeses, made exclusively from raw or thermized cow’s milk in the Jura Mountains. Available only from late September to April, this cheese is traditionally aged in a spruce bark belt, which imparts a subtle woody aroma and helps the cheese retain its shape as it ripens into a rich, spoonable texture. Certified AOP (Appellation d’Origine Protégée), Mont d’Or is a true winter delicacy, perfect for baking or serving at room temperature.
