Product Description
The 2023 Pommard ‘En Bœuf’ from Domaine Boris Champy is a powerful yet refined expression of Pommard, sourced from the northern part of the appellation on the border with Volnay. The vineyard “En Bœuf” benefits from limestone-rich soils and good exposure, yielding fruit with both structure and elegance.
Champy's biodynamic farming and low-intervention vinification bring out the terroir’s signature traits while preserving the wine’s finesse. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in mostly used oak barrels, this cuvée shows concentration without heaviness, and minerality alongside richness—a harmonious balance rarely achieved in Pommard.
