Product Description
Crafted from Pinot Noir vines over 50 years old, the 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes from Domaine Château de Laborde is a powerful and authentic expression of one of Burgundy’s most iconic villages. The old vines, rooted deep in clay-limestone soils, yield naturally low quantities of concentrated fruit, resulting in a wine of depth, precision, and serious aging potential.
Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts, and the wine is aged in French oak barrels (about 25–30% new) for 14 to 16 months. This cuvée combines ripe, dark fruit with savory undertones and the structured, mineral frame that defines great Gevrey-Chambertin.
