Product Description
The 2021 Fixin 1er Cru “La Cocarde” from Domaine Pierre Gelin is a refined and terroir-driven Pinot Noir from one of the top Premier Cru sites in Fixin. Nestled on well-drained limestone soils just above the village, “La Cocarde” is known for producing wines that marry Fixin’s natural firmness with elegance and aromatic finesse.
In the cooler and more classic 2021 vintage, the wine emphasizes precision, freshness, and transparency. Traditional vinification with native yeasts and aging in French oak barrels (around 30% new) results in a wine with real energy and aging potential—suited for Burgundy purists.
